Mustafa Batman is a PhD candidate and research assistant at Boğaziçi University, Atatürk Institute of Modern Turkish History. He received his BA degree from Boğaziçi University History Department and his MA degree from İstanbul Şehir University, Institute of Social Sciences, the Department of History. He studied at Leiden University, Institute of Social Sciences in 2015. His research interests focuses on Late Ottoman social and economic history and the history of everyday life and history of social movements.
