Reuben Silverman is a doctoral student at the University of California, San Diego, where he focuses on the history of modern Turkey and the wider post-Ottoman region during the early Cold War. He received an M.A. in International Studies from the University of Washington where he focused on the political economy of contemporary Turkey.
